Except they aren't plain at all.
Oh no. Where did you bring them???
We had to kill them. I REALLY didn't want them to die but we couldn't find homes for them. Also, we don't have room for a second rooster (much less a third and a fourth). It was a sad day for us. Hopefully there is a StarClan for chickens.
Oh no! So sad that you couldn't find homes! They could have been great fathers! LOL! Did you kill them yourselves?I am a huge animal freak so I do not like animals dying in any way!
I agree. They would have been good fathers. My dad killed them for me. He didn't enjoy it but he made it quick.I'm animal crazy too so I am very sad about it. Poor boys.
What did you do with them...after they were...killed....like how could anyone kill something? I wouldn't have to guts to do that!
You probably don't want to know but... they ended up in the (please don't judge me too harshly!) garbage can. Rather gross.I did not witness it. If I had, I would probably be in the hospital for major dehydration from crying. It was sad. That was not a happy day in our family but it had to be done.
Oh my gosh. lets hope they are happy in chicken heaven!*please let there be one!*Wow....I would NOT let my dad do that. I would try and try and try and try and try to find a home...But oh well. What's done is done...I guess.
We put up a few ads....but I guess even Serama roosters are largely unwanted. So now they have gone on to the chicken heaven...I hope Cheeseball and Mouse are being nice to them.
I'm so sorry you had to lose your lovely boys! BIG ((hugs)) to you! I hope I don't have too many boys from my hatching. I'm v excited because I can hear the chicks cheeping in thier shells today! Wish me luck.
It was sad and I hope your hatch will be all pullets. It usually isn't but I'm hoping!I guess it has been about twenty days! Good luck! Pleasepleaseplease....
Amri - they've started hatching! I'm sooo excited cos it's my first time. I just had to share it with you my friend because I know you'll understand just how ecstatic I feel! Keep your fingers crossed that they will all be OK
I'm watching the incubator with you! Go chickies, go chickies! My fingers are crossed and I'm praying for a good hatch! So exciting!
