Poop

Ducks are poop machines!
Ugh. Poop is my least favorite part of raising poultry. You can prevent aggressiveness, minimize egg breaking, cure illness, but you can't avoid POOP! It can be quite annoying to sit on some grass and end up with manure on you. Very gross.
The birds themselves are wonderful but ugh! Oh, well. At least we don't have a dog, you never know what they have been slurping up. Funny, I don't think I have any pictures of poop.

We have dogs, and of course, they slurp up all manner of gross stuff and then delightedly run those tongues over your hand (or face, if you accidentally get too close!). Dogs even EAT poop, finding the digested stuff in it interesting enough to devour even though we just think ICK!

Eeew! Dogs can be so disgusting! The nice thing about chickens is that they tend to avoid their own droppings. Sadly, they aren't so picky about much else!
